Rhein-Neckar-Arena, opening ceremony

On the 24th January 2009 the new „Rhein-Neckar-Arena“ was opened with a large opening celebration and a game of the „TSG 1899 Hoffenheim“ against a selection of the „Metropolregion Rhein-Neckar“, after a 17 month construction period.

After the game system provider set up a low weight, solid, mobile and adaptable stage for the „Drum Connection “and the star violonist David Garret. See Rolling System Stages for more information.

At the end it did not hold over 30.000 visitors on the seats: Applause and rejoicing for a mad opening party with gigantic fireworks to the conclusion.
