Dust coats and contract killers, campfire and whiskey bar. In a brilliant show, the Australian Spaghetti Western Orchestra satirises the wild west romance of Sergio Leone’s cult cinema classics in a humorous, whimsical manner.

“Once Upon a Time in the West”, “For a Fistful of Dollars”, “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly” – the nail-biting, brilliant film compositions of the recent Honorary Oscar winner, Ennio Morricone, form the starting point for the virtuously playful ensemble of a wild, successful hunt for extraordinary sounds and surprising punch lines. With this, the highly classically trained musicians use such unusual instruments as coat hangers, cornflakes, a mandolin, a melodica, bottles filled with water and nail clippers. Cleverly stunning sound effects are the fascinating result of this avant-garde entry. An imposing firework of gags is ignited and the question of how much fun can be fit into only one show is answered peripherally in an extremely generous manner.
